不可貎相

The English idiom  "don't judge a book by its cover" is a metaphorical phrase that means one shouldn't prejudge the worth or value of something by its outward appearance alone.

For example, "That man may look very small and insignificant, but don't judge a book by its cover – he's a very powerful man in his circle".

英文熟语“不要以封面来判断一本书”是一个隐喻性短语,意思是不应仅凭外观来判断某物的价值或价值。

例如,“那个人可能看起来很小,微不足道,但不要根据书的封面来评判他-他在他的圈子中是一个非常有权势的人。

中文:
人不可貌相,海水不可斗量。”

 出处:《西游记》:第六十二回:“陛下,人不可貌相,海水不可斗量。
